About Kaitlyn French
From an early age, Kaitlyn never passed up the opportunity to capture an audience with her animated storytelling. Many times, her storytelling came in the form of talking over her little sister on the way home from school. She enjoyed making people laugh and smile from an early age.
After receiving her Bachelors of Arts in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University, Kaitlyn headed south to Houston, Texas to work in the oil and gas industries. Seven years later, her first child was born and her life perspective changed. Like many parents, Kaitlyn was inspired by her daughter’s outlook and the lessons she was learning from someone so tiny and new to the world. The very essence of confidence and being true to yourself were qualities instilled by her own parents, however, her daughter was a physical reminder, inspiring the book.
The Girl with the Mismatched Pajamas has received rave reviews by little munchkins everywhere. Kaitlyn resides in Holland, Michigan with her husband and two daughters, and enjoys being on Lake Michigan with her family. Her daughters still love wearing pajamas and they still don’t match.
